Vertical Landcape
Aperture: f / 22.0
Shutter Speed: 1/50
ISO: 100
I took this picture on Tuesday morning on the beach in Wells, Maine. I woke up at 6AM just to get a good sunrise shot, and I'm really glad that it came out well. This photo is an HDR, and it has five layers of different exposures in it. I'm really happy with the surrealist look that it has.
Black and White
Aperture: f / 5.3
Shutter Speed: 1/320
ISO: 100
I took this picture on West Hill in Dummerston, Vermont. I really like the details in all of the trees, not only the larger one, but the smaller ones behind it, too. If I could change something about this picture, I would take the little fence near the large tree out, because it is not something from nature.
Soft Water
Aperture: f / 22.0
Shutter Speed: 0.5
ISO: 200
This picture was taken on Brook Road in Putney, Vermont. I turned it into a black and white because I thought that it made the details in the banks on the sides of the water stand out more. I like how the rule of thirds is pretty evident in this photo, with the water starting on the left and drawing your eye up to the top of the image. If I could change something, I definitely would have made the shutter speed even larger, so the water had a softer effect than it does now.
